The Taff Bargoed Angling Association (TBAA) is one of South Wales's premier fishing clubs, based at Taff Bargoed Park in Trelewis — just 20 minutes from Cardiff and easily reached from Pontypridd, Caerphilly and the Rhondda. Our beautiful valley lakes and river stretches offer some of the finest fishing near Cardiff, set in peaceful, unspoiled countryside.

The Taff Bargoed valley is a world away from the city, yet only minutes by car — and with trophy trout on offer, it's one of the most exciting fishing venues in South Wales.
TBAA is listed on Fishing Wales, the official guide to fishing in Wales. All anglers aged 13 and over must hold a valid rod licence from Natural Resources Wales (NRW) in addition to their club membership.

Membership of the Taff Bargoed Angling Association is open to all anglers in South Wales. We offer Standard, Junior, Senior and Disabled membership at competitive annual rates. Joining gives you full access to our fishing waters throughout the season, plus club events, competitions and your own digital membership card.
